PDF Pattern: Pallas Athene Shawl

Inspired by the art deco painting by Gustav Klimt, this top-down shawl features geometric designs and a loopy I-cord bind off to imitate the lines and feel of the art deco tradition.

To continue the gilt inspiration, use a laceweight yarn with a silk, tencel, bamboo, seacell, or sparkle component. The tight gauge gives wide swaths of solid stockinette to show off the sheen or sparkle amidst the lace geometric shapes.

This pattern contains both written and charted instructions.
