Yet another gorgeous colorway from Evergreen Fiber Works - Hearthside - called me again to knit a sweater. I picked Dolman Top by Laura Grutzeck from the book Knit So Fine.
The construction of the sweater is unique - the bottom is knit from the bottom up in the front and back pieces, and the top is knit side to side from one sleeve to the other. With a variegated colorway like Hearthside, these two pieces knit in opposite directions are all the more evident when they are joined into the finished piece.
Other features of this sweater that get an A+ - the folded bottom hem and dolman baggy sleeves - made this an intriguing and entertaining knit!
